Crynodeb

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Driver (29.5 hours/week) during term-time including INSET days. There will be an additional 29.5 hours called off during the year for additional driving duties.

This role will provide the safe transport service of the pupils, using school minibuses, either to or from the school. The hours of work are details below and are based on a 4-week rota detailed below:

Weeks 1 and 3:
06:45 – 9:30 Monday and Friday.
06:45 – 10:30 Tuesday to Thursday
15:30 – 17:15 Monday to Thursday
14:45 – 20:00 Friday


Weeks 2 and 4:
06:45 – 9:30 Monday and Friday.
06:45 – 10:30 Tuesday to Thursday
15:30 – 17:15 Monday to Thursday
14:45 – 17:00 Friday
13:00 – 17:00 Sunday

In addition, our drivers provide a transport service for pupils to and from local airports when necessary.

Your core responsibilities will be:

o The safe transport of pupils to and from school.
o The cleanliness and basic housekeeping of the bus i.e. fuel levels, oil, tyre pressure etc.

You must have a clean, current, full driving licence with D1 entitlement to drive a minibus.

You should also have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and pupils.
