This is a Full-Time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
We are recruiting a driven, passionate, and proactive People Advisor to join our friendly People & Culture Team at Phoenix Futures. Our team has a strong team spirit and a supportive, and friendly, atmosphere.
This is a varied and a key role within the People Relations Team, reporting to People Business Partner and managing a People Administrator. You will be advising operational managers on employee relation cases and application of our policies, co-delivering relevant training, approving payroll changes before they move to our payroll department for processing, supporting on policy updates and project work, responding to day-to-day queries, monitoring transcript at meetings, supporting on people administration.
You will be a self-starter, excellent communicator and a team player. A passion for solving problems and a can-do attitude is key to this post, alongside the ability to take initiative and manage a varied and fast paced workload.
About You
2 years of experience, or equivalent knowledge, in a HR/People Advisory role with a focus on Employee Relations (Essential)
Numeracy and analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Essential)
Experience of processing payroll changes (Desirable)
General understanding of UK Employment Law (Desirable)
CIPD accreditation or equivalent / willing to work towards accreditation (Desirable)
Understanding of the Health & Social Care Sector (Desirable)

Starting salary of £31,000 p/a (inclusive of pro-rated London Weighting), and opportunity for yearly salary increments (subject to appraisal), meaning potential salary increase up to £36,500 p/a (inclusive of pro-rated London Weighting) after 5 years’ service.

Please note that whilst this role is mostly remote, you must reside in the UK and have right to work. Furthermore, there will be a need to travel to London or to services in UK as and when required.
