Marketing and Communications Executive / Bristol, Hybrid / £25,000 to £28,000 Per Annum D.O.E.
Please note that this role is a twelve month maternity leave contract.
Our client is the professional body for healthcare finance in the UK. They provide our members with the resources, qualifications, and networks they need to succeed in the NHS and beyond.
They are a small, collaborative, and high-energy team, who are now looking for a proactive Marketing and Communications Executive to join them on a maternity cover basis, taking ownership of their digital output and helping them engage with their influential member network.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be the engine room of their digital activity. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage email campaigns, craft engaging content, and ensure their clients brand remains sharp and consistent across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Executive:
• Lead the production of central email campaigns and weekly Healthcare Finance newsletter.
• Write compelling copy for blogs and social media, source imagery, and try your hand at basic video editing.
• Monitor web, email, and social analytics to report on what’s working and where they can improve.
• Keep CMS up to date, ensuring content is SEO-friendly and on-brand.
• Assist with the preparation for events, including sourcing merchandise and coordinating exhibition materials.
• Utilise database to build targeted marketing lists for specific campaigns.
Skills and Experience:
• A "can-do" attitude and a genuine passion for marketing.
• You have excellent written English and an eye for detail.
• You can take a brief and run with it, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• You’re happy working independently but enjoy being part of a supportive team.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Adobe Photoshop, CMS platforms, or video editing software is a major plus (but not a dealbreaker).
• GCSE English (Grade C/4 or above).
• A strong interest in digital marketing and communications.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally and a willingness to muck in with the wider team.
• A valid UK driving licence/car owner. (desirable)
