We are a friendly, community-focused bowls club with a long history and a welcoming atmosphere. Our club is more than just a place to play – it’s a hub for social connection, events, community groups and competitive sport. We’re looking for a motivated and personable Centre Manager to lead our operations and help us grow.
The Role
As Centre Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the smooth running of our club. You’ll be involved in and oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff and volunteers, and ensure our members and visitors enjoy a first-class experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily operations, including bookings, events, and facility upkeep
• Lead and support staff and volunteers to deliver excellent service
• Oversee income and aspects of financial reporting, and membership administration
• Promote the club through community engagement and marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and safeguarding policies
About You
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Experience in hospitality, leisure, or sports facility management (desirable)
• A proactive, hands-on approach
• Flexible to work evenings/weekends when required
