Neway International are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our client Achieving for Children.
Location: Twickenham Training Centre
Hours: 36 hours per week
Start Date: 02/03/2026
Pay Rate: £16.00 PAYE / £20.75 Umbrella

The Role
The Business Support Officer will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support within a busy training centre environment. This role requires excellent customer service, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast‑paced setting. The position is fully office‑based at Twickenham Training Centre and does not offer hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a wide range of administrative support within a business support function
Respond to routine enquiries from internal and external customers, including members of the public
Provide calm, tactful and professional customer service, maintaining composure under pressure
Maintain accurate manual and electronic records, including confidential information
File, archive and organise documents in line with standard formats
Use spreadsheets and digital tools to support data entry and reporting
Collate basic statistical information and assist with report preparation
Support financial administration tasks
Use Microsoft Excel, Google Drive and Google Suite confidently
Provide project support, including updating project plans, conducting research and organising communications
Set up rooms for training sessions
Maintain refreshment areas, ensuring they are stocked and clean
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a business support or administrative role
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
Ability to organise workload, meet deadlines and work independently
Confident using ICT systems, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Experience of record keeping and report writing
Knowledge of multi‑agency working and/or children’s services (desirable)
Self‑motivated, flexible and reliable
GCSEs (A–C or equivalent) in English and Maths
