About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a well-established and supportive clinical team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous clinician looking to work at an advanced level while contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice-
Undertake advanced clinical assessments, including history taking, physical examination, diagnosis and treatment planning

Manage patients presenting with complex, acute and undifferentiated conditions

Request, interpret and act on diagnostic investigations

Prescribe safely and effectively within scope of practice (where qualified)

Provide evidence-based care while maintaining patient safety and clinical governance standards

Manage and prioritise a varied clinical caseload independently
Leadership & Team Working-
Act as a senior clinician within the multidisciplinary team

Provide clinical advice, supervision and support to junior staff
-
Contribute to service development, pathway redesign and quality improvement initiatives

Participate in clinical audit, governance and risk management activities
Education & Development-
Support teaching, training and mentoring of staff and students

Maintain professional development and clinical competencies
-
Engage in reflective practice, appraisal and revalidation processes
Person Specification
Essential-
Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC or GPhC)
-
Master’s level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards)
-
Evidence of advanced clinical decision-making and autonomous practice
-
Experience managing complex and undifferentiated patient presentations
-
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
Desirable-
Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)

Experience in primary care, urgent care, community or acute settings
-
Leadership or service development experience
