Duties
Direct vehicles and pedestrians to designated areas, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals or instructions as necessary to prevent congestion or hazards.
Maintain clear signage and barriers to guide traffic effectively.
Assist with site maintenance tasks related to traffic management equipment when required.
Conduct routine inspections of traffic control devices and report any faults or damages promptly.
Communicate effectively with site management, drivers, and workers to coordinate activities and ensure safety compliance.
Record daily traffic movements and incidents for reporting purposes.
Support in managing access points, including checking permits or credentials for authorised personnel.
Skills
Strong management skills to coordinate vehicle and pedestrian movements efficiently.
Good communication skills to convey instructions clearly and liaise with diverse teams.
Basic maintenance knowledge for inspecting and maintaining traffic control equipment.
Driving competence with a valid licence suitable for operating site vehicles if required.
