We are looking for an experienced Telehandler to join our team for ongoing projects in Bury St Edmunds. If you hold the relevant qualifications and have a strong background in operating telehandlers, we want to hear from you. Immediate start available for the right candidate!
The Role
As a Telehandler, you will be responsible for operating telehandler forklifts to move materials around construction sites safely and efficiently. Your duties will include:
- Operating the telehandler to transport materials and equipment across the site
- Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring the safe handling of goods
- Assisting with lifting and positioning materials for construction tasks
- Ensuring all lifting operations comply with health and safety guidelines
- Working closely with the site team to coordinate the safe movement of materials
- Maintaining the telehandler and reporting any mechanical issues to the site supervisor
- Following site-specific health and safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
- CPCS Card (essential)
- Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction sites
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites
- PPE: safety boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat
- Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
