Summary

Gas Contracts Manager - Building Services

Salary: Band:13, £60,906 - £68,200 per annum

37 hours per week

Portsmouth City Council are looking for a Gas Contracts Manager to join our Compliance team within Housing, Neighbourhood and Building Services. Within the role you will have responsibility for the overall management of gas contracts, managing strategic Term Service Contracts in relation to gas repair, servicing and compliance activities. Specifically, therole will have responsibility for the contract management and service delivery of our Gas Servicing, Repairs and Compliance Contract in relation to our HRA stock of 17,000 dwellings.

This role is key to ensuring gas safety across 17,000 residential dwellings and 900 corporate assets. We’re looking for someone with ACS domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1), excellent technical knowledge, and experience of managing strategic service contracts and the procurement of term service contracts. In addition you will have excellent practical knowledge of relevant legislation and technical guidance as well as experience of preparing and developing strategies, policies and guidance documents.
