Summary
Harvey McQueen are excited to present an excellent job opportunity for one of our clients seeking a qualified accountant to join a dynamic team based in Salford. The role will involve statutory accounting, Tax for SME's, management accounting, budgeting, financial and administrative support.
Additionally you will have the opportunity to work across a range of services, including corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, structured finance, transactional services and relationship advice.
The position provides the chance to work on diverse accounting services with a focus on traditional functions and corporate finance.
Duties Day to day will include :
Managing a portfolio of clients.
Preparation and submission of statutory accounts, tax computations, individual and corporate tax returns and VAT returns.
Management accounting for clients.
Financial modelling and financial analysis.
Assisting with implementation of internal and external client systems.
From time to time, duties could also include:
Researching corporate finance targets and markets.
Assisting with corporate tax restructuring assignments.
Assisting with IHT planning.
Providing due diligence support.
Providing support in fundraising.

The succesful candidate will have at least three years experience in a small or medium sized accountancy firm and will be ACCA, ACA or ICAS qualified or QBE.
Advanced excel skills.
Good knowledge of cloud based accounting apps.
