Summary
The post holder will be employed as a whole time Urology Clinical Fellow on the basis of 40 hour week: The post involves: Core and specialist urological surgical procedures performed on the applicants own operating lists for patients under the care of Consultant Urological Surgeons. Outpatient clinics held on a weekly basis either at Colchester General Hospital or additionally at a peripheral site served by the trust. Day case surgery Diagnostic day case procedures including flexible cystoscopy (haematuria clinics) and urodynamics Educational supervision to junior medical staff Responsibility for carrying out and contributing to clinical audit activity and local governance initiatives. Contributing to the writing of basic science and clinical papers Contributing to the weekly MDT meetings Managerial responsibilities where appropriate Forming of a 1 in 8 on-call rota with prospective cover
