Jesters popular, long standing Out of School setting in Bicknacre is looking for a Full Time Deputy Manager to support our team to support and maintain excellent standards of childcare.

Someone who can bring the fun, awe, wonder, and make magical memories for our children.

We offer children from 4-12yrs from numerous local schools a diverse range of activities in a social environment at our Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club service.

YOU MUST HOLD A FULL DRIVING LICENCE AND HAVE OWN CAR for collecting children from school and bringing them to the club.

Job overview

The role of the Deputy Manager is to assist the Playwork Manager, to effectively manage the day to day running of the Out of School (OOS) service and to deliver the highest standards of welfare, learning and development to all the children in Jesters’ care, focussing.

Key accountabilities

• To co-create a culture of excellence so that Jesters childcare can build futures for the next generation of children.
• To ensure organisational key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved and delivered within the parameters of Jesters’ competency framework.
• To be an advocate for Jesters at all times.
• To ensure high standards of infection control and hygiene practices are maintained.
• To ensure safeguarding is at the forefront of practice.
• To ensure equality and diversity is at the heart of our provision.
• To maintain high standards of information governance.
• To ensure Health and Safety standards and regulations are complied with and internal Jesters practices are part of business as usual.
