Summary

Banc Bwyd Yns Mon – Anglesey Foodbank are looking for an Administrator to support in the daily running of the Foodbank. This will be for an initial 6 months whilst we are developing a larger project which will free the Operations Manager to focussing on delivering “The Hub”.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role includes the taking of referrals as well as contact with a wide range of people and organisations. You will need to have a good telephone manner as you will also be a first contact point as well being able to co-ordinate volunteers in various tasks. Every day will be different and you will have an impact on the daily operational service of the Foodbank.

The Administrator will need to be sympathetic to the Christian ethos of Trussell Trust.

Salary
£18,200 Gross, 25 hours per week.

6 months Fixed Term Contract, employed by Banc Bwyd Yns Mon – Anglesey Foodbank


Base
Anglesey Food Bank Office, Holland Park Industrial Estate. Holyhead.

Any travel costs e.g. mileage claims will be based on the journey beginning from the Holyhead Office.


Main Functions

• Receive calls and provide supervision to call takers
• Monitor the quality of calls and the data recorded/received
• Use data systems to record food bank activity e.g. Data Collection System & Fuel Bank Foundation
• Provide continuity when the Operations Manager is absent
• Coordinate requests for events such as Cheque presentations, donations, Food drives etc
• Support the volunteer on-boarding process and organise rotas
• Provide office skills for data analysis, writing reports and assisting with grant applications
• Actively assist the Operations Manager in coordinating projects
• Basic payroll tasks (if required)
• Appreciation to UK GDPR Policy, Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, HACCP, Food Standards, Driver compliance and associated regulations.
• Maintaining applicable documentation for audit purposes
• To monitor the Food Banks' social media platforms
