Summary
Daystars Home Ltd are looking for therapeutic Residential children practitioners to work in their Residential Children’s Home in Maidstone, Kent
The ideal candidate will have worked in a therapeutic children’s home previously and are committed to working in a therapeutic way with children and young people who through past negative experiences find themselves being looked after by us.
To be able to understand how these negative experiences impact the child and how they can act out inner conflicts in at times a very challenging way is absolutely essential and to be able to do that the successful candidate will be empathic, resilient, physically and emotionally fit. In your application form you will need to highlight these skills and this is through completing a personal statement. To be considered for the upper end of the scale you need to demonstrate experience of shift leading and being on call. If the personal statement is not completed, you will not be shortlisted. Please note that this role will require your commitment to Safeguarding children and you will require a current enhanced DBS.
