Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and food service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment daily.
Support chefs in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and portioning food items.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Stock and replenish food supplies as needed to ensure efficiency during service.
Assist in setting up and cleaning down kitchen and dining areas at the beginning and end of service.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions accurately.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
