Job Summary To provide a highly skilled Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients with complex conditions who are referred to the service. To plan, implement, evaluate treatment and management programmes to ensure the identified needs of the individual are met at all stages of the rehabilitation process or disease progression on a regular basis, further to educate and advise patients, their families and carers in order to facilitate self-management of their condition and optimise their rehabilitation potential and quality of life. To act as a source of expertise on the management of the complex disability and provide an advisory service to Physiotherapy colleagues, other health and social care professionals, GPs, and other involved agencies. To actively participate and support the development of new initiatives within CNWL. To actively support the continuing professional development of all staff, by providing expert advice and teaching. To manage, assist and supervise the junior staff. Supervise locums, students andadministrative staff. Smooth running and day-to-day management of the community physiotherapy service.
