Summary
About this Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Behaviour Manager to join our team at Liberty Academy. We see this as a critical role in our continuing approach to supporting staff and students within the academy.
Here we believe that supporting and challenging our students will give them the best opportunity to succeed in the future. We have a large pastoral team that is dedicated to ensuring that students are able to achieve well and grow in confidence throughout their time with us. We believe that “All things are possible for one who believes” and encourage our students to embody this. The role of Behaviour Manager is also fundamental to ensuring our success to these aims.
We are proud to be an inclusive school and we have the highest aspirations for our students to strive for success, achieve their very best and grow both as individuals and as members of their community. Our approach to discipline is based upon traditional values of hard work, self-discipline and respect.
The successful candidate will lead and co-ordinate a group of staff within the school, to maintain exceptional levels of student behaviour. They will also hold a central role in establishing barriers to students and sign-posting to potential solutions both within the academy and through external agency support. They will have experience of participating in planned interventions programmes for children with emotional and behaviour difficulties and knowledge of strategies which promote good behaviour and discipline.
If you are motivated to work with children and young people to help them realise their true potential with the emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and attitudes we would love to hear from you.
This role will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the school’s Local Behaviour Procedures and managing an appropriate learning environment. The post holder will be responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on behaviour data.
As part of the application we would welcome conversations with any interested applicants should they require more specific information. We think this is a very exciting role within our organisation and look forward to receiving applications.
