A vacancy has arisen at Christ Church School for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to support a SEND pupil.
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child.
Ideally candidates would have the following skillset:
• Have a nurturing approach that understands neurodiversity.
• Have an understanding of the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACE's).
• Have an understanding of zones of regulation and use these to support a child with emotional regulation.
The purpose of this post is to provide support in addressing the needs of the pupil and help to overcome barriers to learning and to extend their learning.
This is on a fixed term contract until the pupil leaves the school.
This role will be paid at Scale point 5-7 (FTE £29,436-£30,288).Christ Church C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding our children.
