Your new role
As an interim Credit Controller within the Finance Shared Service Team, you will be based at the Staverton site with the potential for one day working from home. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing, reviewing, and controlling the Receivable Ledger
- Driving cash collection, including preparing statements and contacting customers
- Performing aged debt analysis and managing overdue or queried debt
- Forecasting expected cash receipts weekly, including promises and risks
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations and year-end transactions
- Liaising with customer services and sales managers to maintain strong customer relationships
- Leading weekly debt and ledger review calls
- Handling invoice and credit note administration
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in sales ledger administration
- Intermediate-level Excel skills
- Strong data management and analytical ability
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Logical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Problem-solving skills to resolve queries promptly
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable:
- Experience in a fast-moving or high-growth business
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
