Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Children’s Senior Practitioner to provide high-quality support within CLA / UASC / 16+ Pathways. This role involves safeguarding, case management, and leading interventions that help vulnerable children and young people achieve stability and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex caseloads for CLA, UASC and older young people transitioning to independence.
Provide senior-level guidance, assessments, and care planning.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure safe and effective support pathways.
Lead on statutory responsibilities, reviews, and risk management.
Support junior practitioners and contribute to service improvement.
Requirements
Social Work qualification (Degree / Diploma)
Social Work England (SWE) registration required
Enhanced DBS with barred list
Strong experience in children’s services, CLA/UASC, or transitions work
Excellent communication, risk assessment and case management skills
