Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
Role: ANP / ACP / Paramedic Practitioner
Contract: Full-time or part-time considered

Our multidisciplinary workforce includes GPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacists and Mental Health Practitioners. We place strong emphasis on clinical safety, continuity, and professional development.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced ANP, ACP or Paramedic Practitioner to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be confident in autonomous clinical practice, managing a wide range of acute, minor illness and long-term condition presentations. You will work independently while contributing to the wider team, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations

Undertake clinical decision-making including independent prescribing (where applicable)

Manage acute, urgent and same-day care needs

Support chronic disease management and contribute to QOF targets

Perform examinations, order and interpret investigations, and develop management plans

Provide high-quality documentation, safety-netting and follow-up

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, escalating appropriately when required

Participate in practice clinical meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement
Essential Requirements-
Registered ANP/ACP or HCPC-registered Paramedic with appropriate postgraduate qualification

Proven experience in primary care, urgent care or similar autonomous environment

Ability to assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients independently

Independent Prescriber qualification (V300) – or working towards
-
Strong clinical reasoning, communication and organisational skills

Up-to-date with mandatory training and evidence of continued professional development
Desirable Skills-
Experience with EMIS Web

Chronic disease management competencies
-
Confidence in minor illness and minor injury
-
Ability to support and mentor junior clinical staff
