The Role

We are seeking an experienced ANP, ACP or Paramedic Practitioner to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be confident in autonomous clinical practice, managing a wide range of acute, minor illness and long-term condition presentations. You will work independently while contributing to the wider team, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations


  • Undertake clinical decision-making including independent prescribing (where applicable)


  • Manage acute, urgent and same-day care needs


  • Support chronic disease management and contribute to QOF targets


  • Perform examinations, order and interpret investigations, and develop management plans


  • Provide high-quality documentation, safety-netting and follow-up


  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, escalating appropriately when required


  • Participate in practice clinical meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement


    Essential Requirements
    • Registered ANP/ACP or HCPC-registered Paramedic with appropriate postgraduate qualification


    • Proven experience in primary care, urgent care or similar autonomous environment


    • Ability to assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients independently


    • Independent Prescriber qualification (V300) – or working towards


    • Strong clinical reasoning, communication and organisational skills


    • Up-to-date with mandatory training and evidence of continued professional development


      Desirable Skills
      • Experience with EMIS Web


      • Chronic disease management competencies


      • Confidence in minor illness and minor injury


      • Ability to support and mentor junior clinical staff
