Summary

LDS Assistant

Role Description

We are looking for appoint two full-time LDS Assistants to join our LDS team at West Lancashire College. These are fixed term positions until the end of November 2026, with a possibility that they will be made permanent, and are within an established team. The role will involve completing data related tasks, such as enrolling, course set up, learning funding rules, completing data audit reports and maintaining the timetabling and register data.

A full training and induction will be given to all successful candidates. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Processing enrolments, withdrawals and transfers throughout the year,
  • Developing your knowledge of the funding rules,
  • Running and annotating reports to check for data inaccuracies,
  • Supporting with document collection for audit.
  • ensuring accurate input of timetabling information, working closely with curriculum colleagues,
  • Keeping registers up to date so that they reflect the timetables and student attendance.
