Summary
HOSPITAL PORTER
Salary: £12.51 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Various Shifts, Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 21:00
Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE
About the role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe movement of patients, equipment, and materials across the site.
Responsibilities:
Patient and People Transfer: Safely transfer patients using appropriate equipment and escort patients, visitors, or staff as requested across the hospital site.
Equipment and Furniture Movement: Move furniture and equipment (including machinery and materials) efficiently within and between different hospital locations.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure the safe and compliant use of all machinery, equipment, and materials, adhering strictly to all requirements.
Policy Adherence: Follow all Trust policies and procedures at all times, ensuring your work aligns with the organisation's core values.
Creating a clean, safe, healthy and secure environment for people to work in is vital. Our Facilities Management teams work with some of the most important Government contracts, hospitals and schools. You will be making a difference, enabling and supporting these core businesses.
