Crynodeb
The successful candidate will work closely with the haematology team and participate in the haematology registrar on-call rota. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain comprehensive experience in haematology. The majority of previous candidates in recent years have gone on to successfully apply for a UK training programme in haematology. The day-to-day role will be similar to the other haematology SpRs and include inpatient and outpatient work. The appointee will have access to weekly morphology teaching and weekly seminar teaching with the other haematology SpRs. There is an opportunity to learn to perform bone marrow aspirates / trephines if the candidate has not yet been trained in this procedure.
