You will support the registered staff within the department, and undertake the following; Participate in WHO safety checklist Peri-operative swab needle and instrument counts Prepare instrumentation and consumable items for the daily workload, ensuring stock rotation is completed Ensure theatres are stocked and ready for the operating lists Taking Clinical Observations and Recording Glucose Monitoring Urine Analysis (Strip) Support and Assist New Staff- Buddy System/Care Certificate Supervisor Pregnancy Testing Report risks as appropriate This list is not exhaustive. We currently work Monday to Saturday and will be working from 8am to 8pm on each of those days. You will be expected to work within those shift times.
