Melksham Christmas Market Stall Worker
£15.00 per hour | Saturday 6th December | 11:00am – approx. 9:30pm

We are recruiting a confident, reliable, and customer-focused individual to run a busy market stall at the Melksham Christmas Lights Switch-On this Saturday, representing an established and premium brand.
You’ll be responsible for the full setup, sales, customer engagement, and pack-down — perfect for someone experienced, proactive, and able to work independently.
What you’ll be doing:

Collecting stock from Frome using the company van (full UK driving licence required)

Transporting goods to Melksham and fully setting up the stall (marquee, tables, stock, signage)

Offering samples and delivering an exceptional customer experience
-
Driving sales throughout the day and working towards a set sales target

Handling cash and taking card payments confidently
-
Engaging with multiple customers at once during busy periods
-
Packing down and returning stock after the event
What we’re looking for:

Previous market stall experience (essential)

Strong sales background with proven success hitting targets

Confident working solo and taking initiative
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Comfortable being on your feet all day in all weather conditions

Full UK driving licence and able to drive a company van
Additional Details:

Paid training session in Frome this week (approx. 1 hour) to learn stall setup and product knowledge

Further work available throughout December and into 2025
