Esquires Organic Coffee Solihull is seeking an experienced and driven Marketing & Commercial Manager to help elevate our brand, support commercial growth, and strengthen our presence within the local community. Our Solihull store is independently owned and operated with a commitment to sustainability, local engagement, and delivering warm hospitality every day.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where customers can enjoy handcrafted food and drink, and where our team works collaboratively to build a café that stands out for its quality and service.
The Role
As a Marketing & Commercial Manager at Esquires Organic Coffee Solihull, you will be responsible for:
• Developing and delivering local marketing strategies to increase footfall, brand visibility, and customer loyalty.
• Managing social media channels, content creation, and community engagement to build a strong digital presence.
• Leading promotional campaigns, seasonal marketing initiatives, and in-store events.
• Overseeing commercial activities including pricing, stock promotion, supplier relationships, and performance analysis.
• Analysing sales data, customer trends, and local market conditions to support informed business decisions.
• Working closely with store management and frontline teams to ensure marketing and commercial objectives align with operational goals.
• Building partnerships with local businesses, organisations, and community groups.
• Producing regular reports and insights for senior management on the performance of marketing and commercial initiatives.
• Maintaining brand standards and ensuring all activities align with Esquires’ ethical and community values.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with:
• Proven experience in marketing, commercial management, or similar roles (hospitality or retail experience desirable).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media management and content strategy.
• Excellent communication, creativity, and storytelling skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to analyse sales, trends, and customer behaviour.
• Ability to plan and execute campaigns that drive measurable results.
• Competency with marketing tools, analytics platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite).
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for customer experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced café environment.
• Understanding of brand consistency and hospitality standards.
