This post is temporary until July 2026.
We are looking for a warm, friendly, vibrant individual to work as part of the Pre-School team under the direction of the Pre-School Manager and Supervisor. You will be required to provide individualised support to a pre-school child with additional learning needs. The hours are 12 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, 9am- 12pm and the child will be moving on to primary school hence the post only being temporary until July 2026.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a full and relevant level 2 or 3 qualification in early years and childcare (such as NVQ Level 3 in CCLD, Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People's Workforce) or equivalent, and have demonstrable experience of working in an Early Years Setting.
At White Rock Pre-school we are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders which have been made against them and to obtain an enhanced DBS check before taking up the post.
