An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Asset Performance (AP) Team.

You’ll take an active role in managing our Flood Risk Assets which includes Public Safety assessments on assets, data management and communicating with the public and other stakeholders. In addition to this your work area’s may include supporting projects and travelling across East Anglia (EAN) to support other AP teams when required. Your work will be varied, and you will be supported to grow your skills, knowledge and experience in your role.

This role requires a diverse range of transferrable skills. Working closely with other colleagues and teams, across a range or work areas such as public safety risk assessments and compliance, data input and improvement, maintenance contractors, work planning, asset repair projects and supporting paperwork, working with communities and partners and, incident response.

The role will involve travelling to multiple sites around East Anglia. A vehicle will be available for you to use for business travel, so a full UK Driving Licence is essential.

As part of your comprehensive induction, you will be provided with all the equipment, PPE and training required to enable you to complete your job both safely and to the high standards which we set ourselves.

The Asset Performance Teams sit within the Flood and Coastal Risk Management Department in Local Operations.

The Asset Performance teams look after a wide range of flood risk assets and main river catchments that include strategically important assets with the aim of protecting People, Property and communities from flood risk.
