Summary

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based in Manchester



Location: Eccles, Manchester

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us



What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, you'll ensure the technical compliance of your project or allocated section, delivering work safely, on time and to the highest quality. You'll act as a key link between design, site delivery and project leadership, helping translate specifications into successful and compliant works.

Your day to day will include:

-Overseeing the technical delivery of works, ensuring compliance with design, industry standards and project requirements.

-Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

-Monitoring on site progress, including inspections and quality checks.

-Identifying, managing and resolving technical aspects with project teams and subcontractors.

-Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, promoting best practice across the site.



What are we looking for?

This role of a Section Engineer is great for you if:

-You have a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

-You have awareness of commercial processes and people/project management

-You have previous experience in a similar role or industry.
