Key Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience working with children, ideally in a SEN setting (or equivalent transferable skills).

Support & Engagement: Ability to effectively support the class teacher in delivering structured lessons and proactively engage pupils in learning activities.

Safeguarding & Attendance: A robust understanding and unwavering commitment to safeguarding children and the critical importance of attendance in promoting pupil progress and well-being.

Adaptability & Sensitivity: Understanding the importance of lesson structure and being able to sensitively adapt and accommodate support strategies, resources, and communication styles based on individual pupil needs and situational requirements.
