Façade Engineer – London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled façade engineer to join a forward-thinking team working on innovative building envelope projects across London. This role is ideal for a façade engineer who is passionate about delivering high-performance, aesthetically driven façade solutions for a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• As a façade engineer, develop detailed façade designs, technical drawings, and specifications across multiple project stages

  
  

• Perform structural analysis, thermal assessments, and material evaluations to ensure optimal façade performance

  
  

• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate façade systems

  
  

• Conduct site inspections, review installation quality, and support resolution of façade-related technical issues

  
  

• Ensure all work complies with relevant British Standards, Building Regulations, and client performance criteria

  
  

• Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, and technical documentation

  
  

  Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

    
    

  • Proven experience working as a façade engineer across a range of façade systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, and bespoke assemblies

    
    

  • Strong understanding of façade performance requirements, material behaviour, and façade detailing

    
    

  • Proficiency with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and structural/thermal analysis tools

    
    

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

    
    

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to project deadlines
