Job Summary
The Best Connection Dartford is recruiting experienced Van Delivery Drivers for ongoing work with one of the UK's leading retail and logistics companies. This role provides steady hours, weekly pay, and excellent prospects for long-term or temp-to-perm employment.
Drivers will be responsible for delivering clothing and a range of retail parcels to both high street stores and regional distribution centres. This is part of a fast-paced next-day delivery operation, requiring reliability, safe handling, and good customer service.
Pay Rates
- £14.27 per hour - Basic (up to 45 hours/week)
- £18.99 per hour - Overtime (after 45 hours/week)
- £27.10 per hour - Bank Holidays
Shifts
- Start times: 05:00 - 08:00
- Flexible 7-day operation (weekend work required)
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering up to 10 stores per shift
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks
- Safe offloading of goods
- Accurate Proof of Delivery (POD) recording
- Communicate effectively with the transport office
- Initial shadow shift before working alone
Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- Minimum 2 years' van driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Physically fit and reliable
- Able to work weekends as part of the rota
