Summary

This crucial role offers a competitive salary range of £75,000 to £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the school's inclusive culture and ensuring that all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities of the Part-time Director of Inclusion and SEND include:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant post-graduate qualification in SEND or inclusive education
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an educational setting, with a strong track record of promoting inclusion and supporting students with SEND
- In-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, Equality Act 2010, and other relevant legislation and guidance
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and external partners
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all students
