This lovely family based in Hampstead, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, and a driver who can confidently operate an automatic car is essential. Based on their experience with previous nannies, the family has found that the ideal candidate is someone with a warm, kind, and caring nature, who is also diligent, responsible, and energetic. They particularly appreciate individuals who have a good sense of humour, possess strong English skills, and are intelligent and quick to learn. The family is not primarily focused on extensive experience; instead, they place greater importance on finding a nanny with the right personality and attributes that fit well within their home. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm + 5 extra babysitting ( additional hours in school holidays)
Duties include:
Picking the children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments.
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children at all times.
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
Putting the children to bed and supporting evening routines.
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development.
Keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs.
Emptying the dishwasher.
Washing the children’s bedding weekly.
Ironing school shirts and organising school uniforms.
