Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records using accounting software Sage or similar platforms
Support accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining supplier records
Aid in financial reporting and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy of accounts
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision
Assist with general ledger entries and data entry tasks related to financial transactions
Support the finance manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
General administration duties
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or a similar platform is essential
Strong understanding of financial services and financial management principles
Experience with accounts payable processes and financial accounting procedures
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems or processes and demonstrate a keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently but also part of a small team
Ability to use Excel efficiently
