Summary
We are looking for Machine Operatives to work at our site in Leominster. This is ongoing work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. The successful candidates will have at least 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Duties:
- Operating and monitoring extrusion machines
- Checking raw materials are correct, then loading onto machines
- Quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained at times
- Housekeeping of extrusion lines, recycling units, packaging automation and associated equipment
- Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels, quality issues and yield against plan/targets on each line
Shifts:
- working 4 on / 4 off (2 days and 2 nights)
- 12 hours days and nights
- 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
Pay Rate:
- £14.50 per hour
- £21.75 per hour (after standard weekly hours)
