About the Role
Help support and maintain the security of the UK’s most important secrets
ROSA is the government IT capability developed to enable secure collaborative working up to the Secret level of classification. It uses the very latest technologies to support secure digital operations for the UK government and its partners, and when you join us as a ROSA Support Specialist, you’ll support the cross-Government Rosa Platform across the four Cabinet Office defined ROSA roles to FCDO and FCDO Services staff, to partners across government and to friendly foreign governments. These roles are Laptop Pool Manager, Corporate Information Manager (CIM), ROSA Trainer and FCDO Partner Account Manager (PAM).
Your role, to begin with, will be as a Rosa Trainer, delivering individual and classroom based training. In due course, you will become the primary Subject Matter Expert for one of the other roles, and secondary SME for the other two.
This role is customer facing and is office based, in London, for a minimum of four days a week and quite often five days.
Working under the direction of the Senior Support Specialist and providing them with information, recommendations and advice on service and productivity improvements, you’ll liaise with your ROSA colleagues, within the Rosa Service Organisation, to maintain the currency of all relevant training materials. We’ll also expect you to ensure that the delivery of any training attains the agreed levels of service , to prioritise your workload and to maintain your professional development as you help to support and grow our vital global business.
Use all your skills as you help defend our country’s security
With well developed awareness of ROSA and practitioner level knowledge of Microsoft Office, you’ll possess confident communication skills and be committed to providing an excellent customer service. Experience of delivering high quality training would be desirable, and we’d also like you to possess good planning and organisational skills.
A collaborative team player but also capable of working independently on your own initiative, you should also be aware that this role maybe require you to travel to various locations throughout the UK and overseas.
Discover the support you need to grow your career further
But we’re always looking to improve – just like you. That’s why when you join us, expect to receive a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement and a Civil Service Pension. Along with this, you’ll also have access to training and other development opportunities to help grow your career with us. Our offices have an on-site gym, nursery, café, and restaurant, and we offer interest-free loans on season tickets and bikes to help you get there. It's a great set of benefits made to support all you do, and all you need.
