Chemistry Teacher – Long-Term Temporary Contract
TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting for an engaging and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in North West London. This is a long-term temporary role, ideal for a dedicated educator who is committed to delivering exceptional science teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Role Overview:
Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS5
•
Plan, prepare and assess students’ work to a high standard
•
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
•
Contribute to the wider Science Department
•
Engage with the school community and uphold high expectations
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
•
Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
•
Experience teaching secondary school students
•
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
•
A proactive and flexible approach
Pay Rate:
£150+ per day, depending on experience
