Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Tameside
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Salary: £162 – £232 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time

TeacherActive are delighted to be supporting a successful and welcoming Secondary School in Tameside who are looking for a passionate, driven, and confident Maths Teacher to join their team. You’ll be teaching across KS3 and KS4, supported by a collaborative department and strong leadership.
The ideal candidate will:
· Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Have 6+ months’ experience teaching Maths within a UK Secondary setting
· Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support progress for all learners
· Demonstrate strong behaviour management, professionalism, and adaptability
· Bring positivity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential
