• Has a proven ability to teach pupils with communication and interaction needs effectively through the use of dynamic and engaging techniques.
• Has the ability to lead a provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice.
• Is able to reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
• Can use their initiative to solve problems.
• Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access learning effectively.
• Can build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
