What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you an enthusiastic, adaptable teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in a warm and supportive school community? This is an excellent opportunity to join Our Lady & St Paul’s as we continue our exciting journey of transition, development and growth within the St Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

We are seeking a flexible, calm and highly motivated KS2 teacher to work 3 days per week, teaching across two KS2 classes. This important role supports leadership release time, ensuring high-quality teaching and continuity for our pupils. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on variety, builds strong relationships quickly, and brings positivity and consistency to different classroom environments.

Our Lady & St Paul’s R.C. Primary School is a caring, supportive and forward-thinking academy with a strong Catholic ethos and a committed, welcoming staff team. Located in Heywood, the school offers excellent transport links to Rochdale, Bury and Manchester, with the M60 and M62 within easy reach.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic teaching professional who can work as part of our dedicated and exceptional team. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to meet the Teachers’ Standards. All classroom teachers will contribute to the curriculum and year teams in supporting the school’s mission statement and achieving its aims. As a professional within a Catholic School, you will be expected to enhance the life of the school by delivering and developing high quality teaching and learning, contributing to the work of the teams of teaching and support staff, being reflective about your own practice and effectiveness: sharing with, and learning from the work of others, and constantly seeking ways to improve through innovation and research.

If you are passionate about making a difference, eager to contribute to a vibrant school community, and ready to support our continued growth, we would love to hear from you.
