All Saints Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant.
The successful candidate will work under the instruction and guidance of teachers or senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes that will enable our pupils to access learning and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. This role is to provide classroom and small group support, primarily within the class.
It is essential that applicants have appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grades A-C or the equivalent) and have extensive experience of working with children who have complex needs in a school or other organisation.
We are looking for applicants who:
• Enjoy working with children and can bring out the best in them
• Have excellent ICT skills
• Have a consistently positive approach to behaviour management
• Good team players with a sense of humour
