Crynodeb
The following are the core responsibilities of the PA. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. Coordinate the practice management teams diaries, ensuring meetings are scheduled appropriately and the manager is well prepared. b. Coordinate internal and external meeting arrangements, preparing agendas and producing minutes for meetings. c. Produce documents, briefing notes reports and presentations. d. Arrange Patient Participation meetings, preparing agendas and producing minutes e. Ability to work outside of core hours on an ad hoc basis for meetings held in evenings. f. Support the practice management team as required with projects. g. Provide reporting and key performance information as required. h. Be an integral part of the general practice team. In addition to the primary responsibilities, the PA has the following wider responsibilities: a. Assist with the recruitment of staff as requested b. Be involved in decision making on recruitment of staff within the business c. Support the Business Partners (5) Day to day or for specific projects d. Support the practice management team in the reviewing and updating of practice policies and procedures e. Manage asset registers as directed f. Support and participate in shared learning Take part in all staff training internally and externally
