Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Home Manager for a modern, large care facility in Wolverhampton, renowned for its excellent reviews. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in turnaround management to address areas requiring improvement. This role demands strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of care standards, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing home.
- Implement strategies for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and care quality.
- Develop and manage budgets effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience in nursing home management.
- Strong turnaround experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of care standards and regulations.
Proven experience in managing a nursing or residential home or similar regulated service, a strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, and with excellent leadership and organisational skills.
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and the Single Assessment Framework.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and care management software used within the home (e.g., electronic care planning, rostering, incident reporting systems).
Enhanced DBS check required and registration with the CQC as a responsible individual, to be completed by the company.
