Summary
Be responsible for scanning patients and producing independent reports of these scans in line with departmental guidelines. To plan and prioritise ones own workload and that of the department to ensure the efficient flow of work, keeping waiting times to a minimum and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. To communicate with patients, their relatives, and others about the purpose of the examinations and the scan results (in line with departmental guidelines). Take an active role in teaching and practical training of student. Participate in the management of the Vascular Lab department and in the audit or clinical governance programs.
