CNC Machinist (Days Only) – Excellent rates of pay and great benefits
A leading Doncaster engineering company seek to appoint an experienced CNC Machinist to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Role Overview:
Operate and set up multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring production of quality conforming parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
-Run and set up CNC machines, perform tool changes and offsets
-Inspect and measure components, record features and update MRP
-Maintain safety, quality, TPM, and 5S standards
-Complete paperwork and support continuous improvement
-Work independently and as part of a team
Candidate Requirements:
-2+ years' experience on multi-axis machines
-Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
-Skilled in reading engineering drawings and using measurement tools
-IT literate (SAP, Word, Excel, etc.)
-Able to work with minimal supervision and meet eye test requirements
