Summary
We are seeking a MIG Welder to work for a successful machinery manufacturing company in Barnsley.
Working hours will be 07.30 - 16.30 Monday – Thursday & Friday 07:30 – 13.30 (with regular structured overtime). Min salary of £34,600.00 per annum plus structured overtime paid at x1.5 or x2 hour rate.
The Welder Role requires team players with experience, skills and knowledge in fabrication and MIG welding. The role requires operating to high quality/workmanship standards within a world class manufacturing team and facility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Fabrication & Welding of mild steel platform chassis components to specified Company standards, and to operate automated plasma/seam welder
Experience:
• Experience of fabrication and welding
• Experience of using jigs and assembly fixtures to manufacture high quality repetitive components.
• Fully conversant with the MIG welding process
• TIG welding experience is desirable but not essential
