Summary
An opportunity has arisen at King Richard III Infant and Nursery School for a new School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.Hours, days and payThe job is from Monday to Friday, for 1.5 hours from 4.15pm to 5.45pm, term time only (38 weeks) with an additional 3 weeks in the school holiday time (41 weeks in total). As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the school classrooms and site, working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
Job requirements
Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school
Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young peopleWe are looking for someone who:Is energetic
Pays close attention to detail Can work on their own initiativeIs enthusiastic and professional
Has high standards
Is punctual, reliable and flexible
