We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading North Kent college for a Residence Support Officer to join their outstanding residential team-recently rated Outstanding by Ofsted (June 2024). This is a rewarding opportunity to support the wellbeing and personal development of students aged 16-18 who are living on campus, many for the first time.

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Supported Living Worker, or anyone with a background in pastoral or residential support. Candidates can either live locally or relocate to take advantage of the on-site accommodation, as the role includes on-call duties and a rotating shift pattern.

As part of a dedicated and supportive team, you will contribute to high-quality pastoral care and encourage students to fully engage in college life-academically, socially, and personally. You'll also play an active role in a variety of initiatives, including Learner Voice, the Student Union, and Health & Wellbeing programmes.

This is a rota-based position with shifts scheduled between 8am and 1am throughout the year (including days, evenings, nights, and Sundays). You will also participate in an emergency on-call rota, typically covering one shift per week.
